Diamond Bottlenecks and Slides

We also stock Diamond's Redhouse bottlenecks, slides cut down from real bottles--except that these have the edges
meticulously smoothed out for a very finished feel. Diamond uses an industrial grade glass polisher to finish the ends
rather than the more common flame finishing. For pedal and lap steel players, Diamond makes solid glass bars, a nice
alternative to more typical steel bars.

IMPORTANT MEASUREMENT INFORMATION:
Many of these bottlenecks are slightly tapered on the inside. The glass has a perfectly smooth, round exterior,
but the thickness of the glass can vary. Therefore, we've provided measurements for *both* ends, not only in
glass thickness but for the size of the opening. Interior measurements represent a minimum.

DIAMOND REDHOUSE BOTTLENECKS Here's a sampling of Diamond's Redhouse Bottlenecks, cut down from actual bottles and meticulously polished at the cut ends. Some are straight, some slightly tapered. $22

"BLUE DIAMOND" BOTTLENECKS Deep cobalt blue bottlenecks made from Italian soda-lime bottles. Thicker glass than typical Diamond Redhouse models. Inside diameters generally measure 18-19mm (11/16" to 3/4") at the smaller end, and most are around 2-1/4" or a bit longer. Limited availability. $25

DIAMOND MIKE DOWLING SIGNATURE BOTTLENECKS We also stock (as we can get them) Mike Dowling Signature Bottlenecks, which are particularly thick-walled, tapered, green bottlenecks cut from Mateus Rose bottles. $25
