NATIONAL 1155 GUITAR – 1957
1957 National 1155. These guitars were produced while both National and Gibson were under the umbrella of Chicago Musical Instruments (CMI). As a result National was able to get J45 bodies from Gibson and fit them with their adjustable “Stylist” neck. While these were a popular guitar throughout their 13 year production run (1947-1961) what make this particular guitar unique is the headstock inlay by Chicago inlay artist Joe Phetteplace. This Guitar is in excellent condition with very minimal cosmetic wear. With original hard shell case. $3500
