Eastman Mandolins

Eastman Mandolins – Eastman, well known for their violins, extended their knowledge of building and finishes to other carved instruments, specifically archtop jazz guitars and mandolins (both F and A models). These are well-made, traditional looking instruments with an excellent tone and open response. Eastman has successfully expanded their offerings to include flat top acoustic guitars, and most recently, vintage style banjos.

Eastman mandolins feature solid woods that are carved (not pressed) as well as lacquer and oil varnish finishes. Eastman’s most recent offering is an octave mandolin, built with a traditional flat teardrop body.
