WHITE (FENDER) FORREST WHITE/STUDIO DELUXE MODEL LAP STEEL GUITAR – c. 1955
Produced from 1955-1957 the “White” lap-steels made by Fender were named after production manager Forrest White. These White console lap-steels (essentially the same model as the Fender Studio Deluxe) were originally intended for studios as student instruments. This steel is a six string with one single coil pickup, volume and tone knob. Three adjustable chrome plated legs provide a very stable base while playing and are easily removed and packed into the case for storage or transport. This instrument is in good condition, has significant finish wear but plays great with a bright clear tone. Includes original hardshell case. $1350
