GIBSON J-50 – 1965
This 1965 J-50 is in very good condition and is a great example of mid 60’s Gibson guitars. Built with a spruce top mahogany back, sides and neck this guitar delivers a rich full bodied tone while maintaining crisp clarity of notes.
The back and top have several cracks that have been repaired and are stable and the original adjustable bridge has bee replace with a fixed bridge with a bone saddle. The fingerboard measures 1 11/16″ at the nut and 2″ at the 14th fret. The frets have been leveled and crowned and the playability of the guitar is excellent. There is minor wear in the finish, typical lacquer checking and several scuffs and dings. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case. $4800
