Description
KUSHNIR A STYLE MANDOLIN – 1938
Made in Kenora, Ontario. Carved spruce top with oval soundhole, carved maple back, maple sides and neck, bound ebony fretboard, gold sparkle bowtie shaped fret markers. The peghead and pickguard are covered in white pearloid and the peghead has sparkle inlays like the fretboard. An obviously amateur made instrument but with overall decent workmanship and remarkably good sound and playability.
