Great Guitars starting at $209

Art & Lutherie Guitar

Eastman, Guild, AMI and Walden have all recently come out with easy-to-recommend instruments in an easy-to-afford price range. We have an excellent selection in stock, with more on the way.

As always, we do a thorough set-up on each guitar before it goes out the door. And we invite you to stop back with your guitar after a couple of months. If your guitar needs a bit more tweaking after it’s been out in the real world, we’ll take care of it.

Eastman PCH1-D Guitar
EASTMAN GUITARS

Eastman has introduced their PCH1 series (“Pacific Coast Highway 1”) of guitars, which we are pretty hard to beat, especially for the $349 price. We also have other models in stock and three body styles are available: Dreadnoughts, OMs, and Grand Auditoriums. The Grand Auditoriums come with cutaways and pickups. Models come in either natural or classic finishes. These guitars all feature solid Sitka spruce tops with mahogany backs and sides. We have a selection of gig bags and hard shell cases available for them.

Guild Jumbo Junior E
GUILD GUITARS

Guild has brought out their “Archback” series of affordable guitars as part of their Westerly Collection. Models start at $379. All include solid Sitka spruce tops, pickups and gig bags. They offer a good variety of body styles ranging from a “Junior Jumbo” to a concert size guitar. Archback construction is a time-honored approach to building that Guild has been using since the 1960s.

AMI Guitars

AMI guitars are designed by Gunther Lutz in Germany and built in China. All models feature solid wood tops, micarta fretboards and bridges and dovetail neck joints. All include a limited lifetime warranty.

We stock a variety of styles and body sizes, including 00, auditorium (000), grand concert (14″lower bout), and dreadnought, as well as left handed models. Prices start at $419.

Walden

Walden guitars are the work of Jonathan Lee, formerly of CFox Guitars. Walden made the first import guitars that we regarded as quality instruments and we have carried them since they began in 1996. They ceased production for a few years but recently opened again and we are pleased to have them back. We have a variety of models in stock, starting at $209.
