Pisgah Banjos are traditionally-styled openback banjos, built in Asheville, North Carolina. They feature native Appalachian hardwoods–persimmon, maple, walnut and cherry–all sourced from regional sawmills. They use quality hardware especially made for Pisgah by foundries in the U.S., both nickel plated and brass options.
All Pisgah banjos have dowel stick construction and frailing scoops. Standard features include paddle shaped headstocks and Remo Renaissance heads. Most Pisgah banjos feature 12 inch pots for that great old-time sound.
