Description
IRIS BB
Tiny but mighty, the BB is officially the smallest bodied guitar available in the Iris line. During the folk boom of the ‘50s and ‘60s when there was a resurgence of interest in acoustic music, the need for smaller guitars for younger, entry level players invited the industry to develop something more accommodating to a person of smaller stature. These 3/4, or student model, guitars are revered for their ease of play and their unique sound. The result is a parlor guitar that is snappy, punchy and down-right sassy. The BB is based off of the AB model body but shrunk down while retaining a 24.75” scale length. Not only is it comfortable to play (and the perfect travel guitar), it truly would be great in any setting.
